Comments CommentsTook the morning off and did the $30 special for my first lift served visit to Tenney in about a dozen years.

The double chairlift was running with about 4 ways down, plus some crossovers. The triple chairlift is not expected to run this season. The Pomalift was not running today, but is open for novice skiers when open for tubing.

Morning Glory and Shooting Star generally formed the perimeter of the open terrain.

Two trails groomed, 1 pass each: Hornet (intermediate sections open; steep sections closed, bypassed with crossovers) and Edelweiss. A few sticks sticking up on Hornet and one or two thin spots/waterbars opening. Edelweiss pretty smooth, narrow, and fun.

A good portion of Morning Glory (ungroomed) was open, except for the middle section. One lower section was open and narrow due to regrowth, more expert in nature as a result. Shooting Star (ungroomed) was open top to bottom, including the steep expert chute (ice base underneath the powder, so no issue with cutting through to bare ground).

A little over a foot of powder.

No lift lines. Friendly lift ops and patrol. Lodge was open for booting up and restrooms, but no food service. Maybe 2 dozen skiers this morning. Good skiing value for the price.
