Glades | I think they were all open - saw some excruciating descents through Kinsman Glade later that day when I hiked through it. I only did some Candyland & Idiot's Delight.... need better (softer!) conditions for me to snowboard the others. |

Comments | Pretty firm conditions, as expected, prior to the storm. Spent a bit of time on Mittersill, BUT, Baron's Run was a skating rink - was scraped bare after racing. I made it down that by relying on THE Higher Power!!! (in order to get back to the main base). Top was a bit too firm for me, as well, though parts were fun. Although it was just barely above freezing, I found it too cold and was picturing any easy fall that my bones would just shatter... I was super-cautious. Got REALLY crowded mid-morning. |
