Comments CommentsThree inches of new snow overnight made for great conditions. Took most lift rides on Kanc Quad and North Peak Quad to make loops with occasional trips on gondola or East Basin Chair. Very thin crust on snow that hadn't been skied yet.

South Peak trails were all open; hit them in them first and took the final run to the car on Boomrun without any issue. Cruiser, Twitcher and Jabber had loose powder making for more challenging turning, Boomrun was fantastic early morning and Ripsaw took the cake with minor ice showing through.

Kanc trails were all open; Upper Northstar was good while Lower was groomed weird and very piley. Rampasture, and Lower Picked Rock were good with a few spots of ice. Blue Ox, and Rumrunner tied for best conditions. Bear Claw/Grand Junction had the expected family traffic on it. Rolling Bear was more icy, piley. Coming into the Kanc complex Speakeasy was amazing top to bottom, getting lucky to have it to myself for a run.

North Peak trails were all open, with Lower Flume divided into groomed and natural. Walking Boss was great top to bottom with piles forming. Upper Flume was fantastic and well groomed. The line for loading was decent for most of the day, clearing out more for lunchtime. Stopped a few times, heard others talking about it too.

East Basin Chair was finally running on a day I was there! Fixed grip double was as slow as expected but gave good access to said trails without having to deal with the hassle of the gondola. Angel Street was groomed well top to bottom. Big Dipper and Triple Trouble were left natural and looked fun.

Only took one run/ride in the Gondola complex, taking Pickaroo down to it. It was in good shape, a lot of ski school/family action on Seven Brothers, Lower Bear Claw trails. The Little Sister triple was running.

Coolidge Street was closed for the first half of the day for race training, but later opened after lunch and the skiers did a good job smoothing out the trail.
