Comments CommentsThe mountain reported 19" of new snow at the summit from the Friday - Saturday storm. All trails were open today except for Little Sister which was closed for an event. The usual trails were groomed to start, but didn't stay groomed for long. Very deep, soft packed powder on all trails today, quickly turned into loose powder and moguls as it got ripped up. Upper Walking Boss was fun with huge soft moguls. Lower Walking Boss was smoother. Upper Flume didn't have any moguls, probably the snow got blown off from all the wind on Saturday. Lower Flume was all soft snow and moguls. Angel Street was very nice with abundant soft snow. Short lines were found at all the lifts today, except for the Gondola. I avoid the Gondola on most days anyway. Don't like waiting in the line, and the need to keep removing my skis and putting them back on. Did not go to South Peak, but heard that it was good, especially Ripsaw. Loon announced that South Peak will remain open daily until the end of the month. Typically it closes during the midweek on the last week of March.
