Comments | Trails were quiet, despite many cars in the two lots. Clear, sunny, and a little windy. Cardigan was a mixed bag with hardpack up top, a few icy patches lower and some nice spring snow closer to the bottom. Flying Yankee was better at the bottom but two serious ice bulges showing in the middle. Showboat was phenomenal, staying to skier's right had great snow and minimal ice/hardpack. Upper Exhibition was great with a couple patches, lower has set up moguls and dead jumps on skier's right. Lower had more hardpack. Birches was really good. Headwall was great, with good snow still on it. Blueberry/Ridge junction below Headwall had a lot of big patches of ice. Upper Chute had some strong ice patches, but the banked curves were still a lot of fun. |
