Comments | Today was not a great day with the weather, but I had to make the most out of it. It had rained over night, making lots of rough patches and wetting the snow. It was also very foggy, mostly on the upper mountain, which made visibility difficult. Most of the trails I skied had the same wet packed conditions. I skied most of the trails in the Solitude area, including Coleman Brook, Heaven’s Gate, Exhibition, Boomerang, Screamin’ Demon, And Sidewinder. As I mentioned, all had the same snow conditions. I did a few main face runs as well,including Sapphire, Upper Arrow, and World Cup, which again all had the same conditions, just like the Solitude runs. I also tried the whistler glade, and it wasn’t that bad. I was soaked by the end of the day. I ski at Okemo most Saturdays, so expect more reports soon! |
