Comments CommentsAnother good day at Stowe! Yesterday was all powder and today was all groomers, so a nice variety this weekend! Everything off of Fourrunner was pretty firm all day. Spruce was nice and soft in the morning, but a little firm in the afternoon. Gondola trails were nice and soft for almost the whole day, so that was really the place to be. Started off partly cloudy, changed to snow around lunch, progressively getting more cloudy. Windy over at Spruce and on top of Forerunner, but no wind holds on any lifts.

Liftlines were long, but not horrible. Not as many crowds right at opening as yesterday, as there was not really fresh pow. Gondola opened early, so was able to get two walk-on runs. The average line for Gondola and Fourrunner was about 15min before lunch. After lunch, crowds really thinned out, because 1. Sunday, and 2. Super Bowl.
