Comments CommentsThe Gondola, Seven Brothers Triple, and North Peak Quad ran today.

The South Peak area closed for the season last weekend. The West Basin area closed two weeks ago. Last week Upper Speakeasy, Rampasture, and Blue Ox were still open. You had to divert at the bottom to Picked Rock and go to the Gondola base. Now those three trails are completely closed (Lower Picked is still open). I figure they don't want skiers going anywhere near the Kanc Quad while it is being taken down.

The snow started out soft today, and only got softer as the day progressed.

Took a few runs from the Gondola. Used that opportunity to ski Angel Street. It was ungroomed, but was still in decent shape snow wise. There were some bare spots to ski around though.

On North Peak Upper Flume and Upper Walking Boss both had thin coverage at the beginning of the trails, but the rest of the trails still had good coverage. They were both ungroomed. Sunset is only skiable on skiers right at the top, but otherwise it's still in decent shape snow wise. Haulback is still open with good coverage. It's mostly shaded so it felt much cooler skiing through there. Cant Dog was still open providing access to lower Angel Street and Basin Street, but there was thin coverage in spots.

We skied mostly on North Peak today.

Weather: Temperature started out in the low 40's and climbed up to 73° in the afternoon. Mostly sunny, no wind today.
