Session SessionFull Day
Lift Ticket Ticket TypeEpic Pass
Lift Lines Lift Lines1 to 2 minutes
Snow Trail Conditions85% open; Packed Powder, Frozen Granular
Glades GladesA few glades were open but they didn't not look inviting yet we saw folks heading down them
Moguls MogulsSeveral trails with moguls that we saw. Plunge was the most inviting. Exhibition and Lower Timberline only had natural snow moguls so fair amount of rock and ice in spots which was not appealing.
Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)According to website several parks available but we did not run across them or use any so I can't give you any more information.
Run of the Day Run of the DayAll the runs were great especially southface trails. Upper and Lower Chief were great.
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageI had a wrap and french fries and both were good.
Comments CommentsGlad to see South Face open with 5-6 of the main trails available and all were in great shape. Also Upper and Lower Chief were finally open and superb. Looks like snowmaking has moved to Jackson Gore area now and guns were blasting on Vortex and Quantum Leap and whalebacks were huge. Expect to see these trails open by mid week. Crowds were minimal. We had to wait maybe 2-3 mins at most when we were skiing off Sunburst serviced trails. Other lifts it was basically ski right on to the lift. South Face lift line approaching from Blind Faith side had 3/4" gravel poking up through the snow which didn't do the ski bases any favors. Several folks told the lift operator about their concern but lifty just said we know and did nothing. Worth the peace of mind to ski around to Stump Jumper side of lift line to avoid the gravel. -13 deg in the parking lot at 8am but it didn't feel cold on the mountain. We skied from 9-2 nonstop and didn't get cold at all. Only closed the bubble once because some whimpy riders pulled the bubble down. After that we rode alone and enjoyed the views. They definitely need to get a few more trails open at JG. Nice new 6 pack is basically servicing Lower Limelight which is crazy. Great day overall. Okemo is finally get back to the quality I have enjoyed for years. From what I heard from some Okemo reported 5" of snow Saturday but I never saw more than 2" on their snow stake web cam.
