Comments | Traditional free last day of the season. Barker lots filled quickly, but they had a shuttle running from elsewhere. Barker chair was the only one running, but never more than few chair wait this morning. Roughly five different ways down - T2 (thin in places) to Cascades, Sunday Punch to Monday Mourning (thin/narrow at bottom), Ecstasy to Sunday Punch, Right Stuff, and Lazy River to Tourist Trap (chokepoint around the bottom of the Spruce chair). Some other terrain to be had as well (such as the racing T-Bar line). Apart from the parenthetical notes, base depths were still good and the area could continue to operate tomorrow if they wanted to. At times some of the trails were busy, but at other times empty. Overcast to start, but the skies cleared by mid morning, quickly softening things up. |
