Moguls MogulsTin Woodsman and lower American Express had some nice dry snowmaking moguls. At least they weren't pieces of bubble gum.
Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)T72 is now open from top to bottom; with three massive jumps on it's upper section, followed by a new and improved rail park on the lower half. Who-Ville also dropped an element and now has a small jump. Landings are all super steep, so you don't need lots of speed to gap them.

Comments CommentsWow, what a superb day at Sunday River. Almost did't ski here today; wanted to head up to Saddleback for more natural snow. Guess that's saved for tomorrow! Given the last couple weeks have been really rough with the warm temperatures, these couple inches of snow was a much needed sigh of relief. Yeah it's not much; but who's complaining?

Took my first run off of Spruce down Risky, and was already in great shape. The dusting of powder actually would slow you down for a bit, but after you regained some speed it was fine to carve through. The surfaces all around the resort are in the best shape they have been all year it seems. Expecting the same when I went over to Jordan Bowl and was not let down. The first 3 headwalls of Rouge Angel were absolutely fantastic for mid-week, and didn't let up until 2:00. All I did for the entire morning is just lap the new Jordan 8. The 4 minute ride up + the 3 minute run got me 12 runs in total. Yeah, that lift is kinda awesome dude. Tin Woodsman also was in great shape too. They turned off the guns and let the trail sit overnight, so there was fresh snow in lots of places.

After lunch, I met up with a couple friends from lift ops on our day off. We lapped the chondi for a bit and hit the park on T72; which is now open top to bottom. Apparently the landings to some of the bigger jumps on the upper section were purposely designed for the landing to be steeper. Park crew mentioned that most people don't have enough speed to clear the gap, so might as well compensate to make it better. What?? Still don't understand that but whatever. Maybe they know more than me when it comes to doing tricks in the air and stuff ¯\_:)_/¯

Called it a day at 3:15, for a great day of skiing.
