Comments CommentsCold this morning!! Skipped lift lines by playing around here today, this was a great place to come and beat the vacation week crowds! Not many people when we arrived, but the parking lot had filled up by the time we finished eating a late lunch. Trails were in pretty good shape - upper trails were natural snow, lower had seen snow making. Edelweiss and Tote Road were a lot of fun, windy narrow trails. Venus Fly Trap got a couple visits from us too with beautiful snow. Hornet (under the double chair lift line) was a lot of fun too, we hit that closer to lunchtime after a couple inches had fallen on it.

We didn’t take our favorite skis out today, aired on the side of caution. We only caught a few smaller rocks between the two of us, neither left with any major carnage. I would guess today’s storm brought about three inches of new snow.
