Comments | Most of the mountain open, midweek crowds, and snow falling. Apart from South Peak (opening soon), very little was closed (mainly Upper Flume and Triple Trouble). An inch of snow fell this morning and apparently more fell this afternoon. Walking Boss and Lower Flume were scratchy. Sunset could use more snowmaking, as the left side is pretty bony. Angel Street was awesome, with recent snowmaking. Crosscut was also very good. Speakeasy was also great with recent snowmaking. Upper Rumrunner was scratchy, but Blue Ox was decent. Gondola was the only lift open from the main base area, so lines were a couple of minutes. North Peak Quad and Kanc Quad were ski-on. |
