Lift Lines Lift Lines1 to 2 minutes
Snow Trail Conditions35% open; Packed Powder, Powder
Glades GladesThere were seven glades open when I skied on Sunday the 17th. It was amazing to be in the woods and with the storms we received recently, Bretton Woods received 2+ feet of snow! The glade of the day was Blowdown Alley the Zephr area. I do caution all skiers however that the snow is beginning to get skied off and you may find rocks or other natural items that may ruin your ski bases.
Moguls MogulsMoguls were great on Aggassiz. Nice soft snow with some bumps for a natural trail.
Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)The Crawford Blaze terrain park was open with some rails and jumps.
Run of the Day Run of the DayRange View Trail
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageNo surprises when you come to Bretton Woods, the chicken fingers were $9. After my day was over I went across the street to the Irving Gas Station has cheaper hot food if you want to go anywhere for inexpensive meal deals.
Comments CommentsI skied from 9AM to 1PM on Sunday the 17th! It was a terrific ski day:

Here's your run down:

Mount Rosebrook:
I took one run off Mount Rosebrook and it was very foggy. I took High Ridge to Outer Bounds so I could get back to the Zephyr area. It was very good condition even if I didn't get first tracks that morning!

I also took a run off the Perimeter trail and it was one of the iciest trails on the whole entire mountain however it was still in halfway decent shape. I don't believe they groomed that trail that day.

Zephyr Area and West Mountain:

This area was incredible. I elected to stay in this area because there was huge ski race occuring on the Bretton's Wood trail. I loved the Range View trail because literally no one was skiing this trail. The Packed Powder on this trail made me realize how lucky I am to be able to ski on some of the best snow around in the East.

I also scoped out the Crawford Blaze terrain park and went by the Fabyan Express Triple. The Ski Patrol was conducting a lift evacuation training and it was very cool to see this process in action.

The trail of the day was Range View but the other trail that came in a slight second was Aggassiz because of the soft snow and how much natural was there out of any of the natural snow terrain. Great day all in all! Go check out Bretton Woods if you are in the Mount Washington Valley because of how much open terrain they currently have available.
