Comments CommentsAfter Tuesday's snowstorm we took the day to head over to Magic for their glorious trail network.

We played around on most trails that were open. Wand, Trick, Carumba, Upper Wizard, Talisman and one side of the run out on Lower Magician were groomed. the rest were ungroomed. Up Your Sleeve, Kinderspell, Medium, White Out, Pixie, and Magic Carpet were a blast. Vertigo and Mystery were definitely more challenging but still great. Carumba for last run was awesome, still in good shape by the afternoon.

Upper Wizard leading to Talisman was a great run. Broomstick was groomed up to where it met with Magician. Magician in the morning was ungroomed and had some pretty set up bumps. The lower portion was not so bad, and toward the end of the trail where it met with Lower Wizard was groomed on one side. Wizard where it split off from Talisman was bumps but very manageable with time, and was fun.

The vibe here is very different compared to other nearby areas. It never got outrageously busy, even for Vermont's school vacation week. The people are very friendly, the skiers are there for fun and are respectful. I love to come here for all of those reasons, adding in that the trails are always in good shape and offer new challenges along with a lot of fun. Glad it is open and running.
