Comments CommentsWhen we arrived shortly before opening, the area was already filling up with kids. Not a bad thing, they were all cute and very polite. The mountain was hosting a fundraising race, encouraging costumes and outfits. There were some really great ones, one kid was dressed as a knight, another as a giraffe. The race course was set up on Boris, so we hit that early and played around in the gates.

Natural ungroomed trails were in great shape. Some had been worn in more than others, Lallypalooza was still good but had a couple spots to watch for around lunch time. Plenty of action on Fractured Fairytales - upper and lower, and Frostbite Falls got scratchy early. Bullwinkle's Horn was still in great shape by lunch, the lesser traveled route to get to the junctions.

The T Bar was running around 9:30/10 and we took a few runs on that. While I skipped Rocky's Run, I did enjoy Round A Bout, Fearless Leader, and Pats Pass. Sweeper was getting a little scratchy, but not terrible if you found the right side to be on. Snowfields was ungroomed, and running out onto Easy Rider was a relief for me. Dudley Do Right was in great shape, seeing a lot of traffic.

The recent snow was fantastic, and worked seamlessly with the existing conditions, making a fun time.
