Lifts Running: Superstar

Three inches of new snow fell overnight. Superstar lift had a delayed start, not sure if it was because of icing or wind. I didn't arrive until 10, it was running then. At arrival it was cold (29°) and very windy. Most of the Mountain was fogged in with fast moving low level clouds. Visibility on the trails was very low, especially on the Superstar headwall. Took three runs and stopped for lunch, and to wait for better weather. After noon the weather was much improved. The fog lifted, the sun came out, and the wind went away. By 2 PM it was really nice, mostly sunny with temperature in the upper 40's. The Superstar lift ran until 5, but I had to leave at 3:30.

I was surprised how much snow was still left on Skyelark and Bittersweet. They had sections with thin coverage but overall were still good. The new snow helped freshen them up. Superstar has plenty of snow, it was groomed down the middle to start out.

Short lift line in the morning, but after lunch it got pretty long.
