Comments | Wonderful day at Stratton today! Base was firm and it showed through on steeper terrain. However, some of the blues (such as Black Bear) were good in the morning, though the last descent into the URSA area was pretty rough. Mike's Way to the Meadows off the summit and Yodeler off of AMEX held up the best all day, though still with a firm base, both had plenty of snow to push around and not too much ice. Thanks to short lift lines and Stratton's wonderful lift system, I was also able to break my vertical record! |
