Comments | Conditions were pretty good after all that rain and fog! Loose granular all around, a little bit of scratchy hard pack here and there but nothing you couldn’t get an edge into. Both chairs running, with only Flying Yankee being open on Spear. Good snowmaking weather today, they’re making snow on Showboat and Cardigan. It was a cold ride up through the guns! Flying Yankee had a teenie hold up when I went to ski it around 11:30, there was a snowcat on the lower portion. There was another snowcat on Village Green, couldn’t tell if he was taking the features down or just dusting. Wild Side was a great long run, Upper Crewcut was fairly scratchy the whole way, but with a good edge and some leaning you’d do just fine to go where you want. Pretty impressed with the grooming team here. It was so depressing watching all the rain melt the snow, today was a pleasant surprise! |
