Comments CommentsWildcat and natural snowfall - the puuurfect combination. The light dusting from the night before really had some great areas to rip today. Only a 2 trails were not online, so a majority of great natural and groomed trails are in fantastic shape. It's hard to believe that a mountain like Wildcat has less than 50 trails; I never would have never guessed that while I was there. For a mountain that can give you 50,000+ feet of vertical in a single day, that just blows my mind.

Solid and consistent conditions throughout the day. Got to almost all of the open trails off the summit, including Polecat, Upper Wildcat, Top Cat and Lift Lion. Hardpack and firm snow on Top Cat and Upper Wildcat, but overall decent coverage on both. Alley Cat, Lower Catapult, Bobcat and Cheetah are where the goods are. Lower Lynx is also getting there too. Alley Cat was a just great combination of fresh natural powder on top of a moderately light hardpack. And also forgot to mention - NO moguls. Great run!

Other than that, not much else to say. It's great out there. I'm sure it will continue to improve this week. No lift lines and a beautiful bluebird.
