Comments | You shouldn't have stayed home this morning! Good visibility, even saw the sun a couple of time but mostly high cloudy skies. Seriously few people here this morning to enjoy the Hero Turn snow. Many of the regular kids not around due to a U16 race being held at Waterville. Skied onto the lifts every ride. Solo gondola rides so I could use the time pretending I was in a phone booth to call home. Mount Deception and Cherry Mountain and views of The Hotel's red roof were good all morning. I did 12 runs in a row and went home, I would have stayed longer but I kind of over did it cross country skiing in Jackson :) Snow was super nice, Upper Swoop and Sawyer's Swoop really good along with Bretton Woods and of course Range View and Crawford's Pass all swell too. Summit lodge was open at the top of the Gondola. Was a really great morning to ski. On my return home I noticed that Cannon was in and out of the clouds and the wind was picking up. Here in Franconia it is 3 pm and it is pouring rain and 42 degrees :( I hope this weather event ends with snow. Think snow. |
