Comments | Wonderful day well spent over at Berkshire. Took a little break from this site but figured I'd hop back for just one more visit! The area got a couple inches from last night, and it was clearly evident throughout the drive over. Most trails are open, and I think just a bit more natural snow could open up some of the glades in places. Almost every trail with snowmaking is open with decent coverage across the board. The new lift was also a great ride, and round trip (from the bottom --> top --> bottom) is only 6 minutes. It was operating fast for almost the entire day, except for around noon when it was slowed down for some people from lift maintenance to inspect some of the towers. Overall, it was a great day to be out in western Mass. Lots of locals and friendly attitudes were everywhere! |
