Glades GladesAll in play. Casablanca 3 to 4 was good. Top of Nightmare Glades was a little bony, but good thereafter. Upper Dark Wizard glades were interesting (felt like I was ducking under the dwarf trees). Lower Intimidator Glades were good.

Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)Park and half pipe
Run of the Day Run of the DaySupervisor
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageMain lodge was a mob scene around 1 (perhaps in part due to the pond skim and upcoming eclipse crowds), so we ate at the Mid-Mountain Lodge. Neat building with nice views, but form did not follow function with the design (kind of small from the weird shape, and no restrooms for non-customers). Food was decent, but portions were quite small (they referred them as "snacks").
Comments CommentsThis spring keeps on delivering - mid-winter conditions today with virtually everything (except randomly the last little section of Golden Smelt) open. Even saw folks dropping into Warden's Worry from the snowfields above the ski area.

The area picked up a little more snow last night, making things great today. Generally powder/packed powder conditions this morning. The clouds finally parted in the afternoon, making for a little bit of spring snow down low and slightly wetter powder up top (but not sticky).

Only dealt with rocks a few times in the usual places (e.g. headwall of Governor's, top of Black Beauty). Muleskinner had surprisingly good cover, even in the usual chokepoints. Nice to ski so many of the steep natural trails without as many obstacles poking through as in the past, thanks to the good snowfall in recent weeks.

Busy day with cars parking way down the access road. Would have been nice to have the T-Bar as a crowd-avoiding option, but they didn't run it today. Lines were closing in on 10 minutes on the Rangeley and Kennebago Quads prior to lunch, but then things were quiet during the events. Brief build of lines again, then ski-on from 3ish to closing (4:50 last chair).
