Comments Comments Fun day mixed bag of conditions, early morning nice loose granular and after a couple hours scraped down to frozen granular and occasional blue ice but great conditions overall all day. And nice wind blown powder, just depending on what trail and what tome. I started from Bear Peak, I would have started at SkyPeak gondola down below but I didn't realize it was open. At noon rode lift with gal that had come from Pico saying pico lift broke. Rode new Superstar lift, so many more snow guns! But twice it stopped for five minutes+ like they didn't know how to restart it, man on snowmobile arrived just as they figured it out. New lift feels no frills from a hard seat cushion to having to raise the bar ourselves after riding the bubble chair wat did they expect us to think? Weather today was mostly cloudy and snow flurries off and on. On way home I was surprised to see some blue sky. Good conditions and a good day
