Comments | Cold weather loophole part 2. First time here in almost half a decade.
Everything was open with good base depths. Many trails have character (some nice narrow ones); doesn't feel like Connecticut. Satan's Staircase was the only scratchy trail; everything else skied decently this afternoon with minimal hardpack. Gunbarrel warranted a few consecutive laps (one of my favorite southern New England trails). Getting from it to the new quad requires a little bit of an uphill (not as much as the old triple).
Generally no lines for the quad, apart from backups from scanning lift tickets. |
