Comments | Tonight was Black Mountain's last free ski night of the season. The warm weather and rain has taken a toll on the snowpack, and only a handful of snowmaking trails remain open. Androscoggin, Upper Rapid, Kennebec, Upper Sunday, Ellis, and Aroostook were open, and all were groomed. There were a number of thin sections, but they had done a pretty good job keeping good coverage on the open trails. It was firm frozen granular conditions, which I love! It was a fun and fast evening! |
