Comments CommentsFun first visit, nice trail system with good character. Trails were well groomed at opening and held up throughout the day, ended my trip around 2:00. Hit Ciao a couple times, as well as lapping the race trail (Utter Abandon). Managed to try out part of the course they set up before they started training. No Grit was a nice side trip, and in great shape. Oblivion was a lot of fun too, dumping out onto Valley Run with nice snow. Valley Run, Tippecanoe and White Caps to Chute seemed to be the most active trails. The new Green Peak complex only had a handful of trails open for now, Governor's Run and Piano Man being a couple. It will be interesting to ski the difference when it is completed, looks like it will offer some fun trails. Periphery was a blast, hit that a couple times. The High Country was open and ungroomed but offered nice powder. Last day for the High Country chairlift since it will be dismantled for parts and a new hi-speed T-Bar will be installed a long the treeline. Hassle won my heart up there.

Snow stayed nice all day without the crowds getting heavy.
