Food and Beverage Food and BeverageThe K-1 Lodge and the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bar were open. Lots of tailgate parties were going on.
Comments CommentsSuperstar, Skyelark and Lower Bittersweet trails were open. Trails were groomed to start. It was cold overnight, close to freezing. The snow started out firm, smooth, and fast. It warmed up quickly and the snow softened. By 11:00 the moguls got quite large on Superstar at the headwall near the lift. I had 14 good runs in by then so I called it a day. The weather was nicer than predicted. Partly sunny to start out the day. Left Killington around noon and still no rain. Possibly the last ski day for me this season. I have one more day at Killington left on my MAX Pass though... I'm going to really miss the MAX Pass, it was a great deal. The replacement Ikon pass is not nearly as good for New England skiers, and does not come in an add-on version either.
