Glades | skier's left of main peak glades all OPEN with excellent coverage - with careful riding, you could mostly avoid open water, though, several kids ended up very muddy - I think one bellyflopped in a stream!!!! I admire the fact that Ragged didn't close these off!!!! |

Moguls | Quite a few trails were left ungroomed or with a single groomer run which was nice when you lost speed, you could pick it up again on the groomer pass. Moguls were starting form. |

Comments | I picked up my Season Pass mid-day - line was VERY slow-moving, but, they are working on a new RFID system which slowed things down I'm sure. Also, nobody seemed to be grouping anyone onto the six-pack - not really sure what was going on there. Terrific afternoon and amazing for December 1. I am so glad Ragged opened trails that are often not opened without a solid base!!! This is the place for natural snow - Sweepstakes was AMAZING!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the old-skool natural snow (ONLY - no snowmaking) and narrow character - it is a special treat to ride it!!! I was also happy Cabin Fever was open although the runout is so flat - thankfully they took 1 pass with a groomer on the flats so you could keep up speed. Excellent afternoon!!!! Only the main peak was open - fine with me - kept me entertained for a couple hours, then my legs were totally beat. |
