Comments | After the rain event, I had pretty low expectations BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Always light crowds the day before Christmas so it was super fun!!!! Snowmaking in progress on several trails which made the riding creamy and dreamlike!!! Never got hit in the face by the guns - they were aimed well. I lapped Moat a couple times because it was SO nice!!!! Edges of Spillway were mostly untapped machine-made as well - fun to set tracks in it. Didn't get skied off too quickly. Took 2 runs from the summit - lift stopped a couple of times which was annoying when it takes so long anyway to get up there. Humphrey's Ledge and Idiot's Option rode pretty well also. The corduroy was not too icy - held a good edge. Very fun morning!!!! |
