Session SessionFull Day
Lift Ticket Ticket TypeSeason Pass
Lift Lines Lift Lines1 to 2 minutes
Snow Trail Conditions35% open; Powder, Frozen Granular
Glades GladesGlades are not open and it will still take more snow to open the steeper glades. However, I noticed tracks into Moose Alley, and was eager to ride in a glade as I was not able to ride any glades last season due to a broken leg so I eagerly jumped in. Only bottomed out twice - better than many of the open glades I've been in at other Resorts in past years. Doesn't need much snow to be fun in there - really nice pow!!!
Moguls Mogulsformed at edges of trails
Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)one open but I didn't venture in
Run of the Day Run of the DayLower Ridge - had LOTS of fresh powder that was ungroomed along the edges (skier's right) to play in
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageI didn't partake
Comments CommentsIT was really nice that the Spear Mountain Quad was open as well as the Flying Yankee trail. Unfortunately, something dripped on my pants from the lift and I saw it on other people's pants too. It came out in the wash so no harm done. I think it had something to do with the grips as this was the first day it was open since last year.

Anyway, absolutely TERRIFIC conditions today - all fresh powder on a good edgeable base. Super fun to have the Barn to Be Wild barn open - nice little piggies in there to see as you ski through it - I always try to swing through the barn once per visit. Plus, it's fun to see the people learning to ski and ride on the beginner terrain.

I skinned up twice for my cardio and enjoyed both skiing and riding the newly opened trails today.
