Comments CommentsOverall it was pretty quiet. South Peak was open, and we were glad we hit it first thing. It got skied off so quickly, the final trip down Boomrun to get back to the car was a mix of mostly ice with good snow closer to the bottom.

North Peak was in good shape, Walking Boss was great top to bottom, Flume was being pounded with snow, Can't Dog was its usual icy self, Angel Street was piles and Basin Street was ice. Big Dipper was listed as groomed and open, but a quick survey from the top said something completely different. The area of Grand Junction was alright, they were making snow on a couple trails. Upper Northstar looked rough with patchy dirt and ice, we didn't touch it, but Lower Northstar was great. Coolidge Street was fantastic, Rumrunner was good, but otherwise we didn't spend too much time on those trails. I am a secret lover of Dropline, but they didn't have the whales or anything yet.
