Comments CommentsIf I had followed yesterdays weather forecast for today I would have missed a nice morning of skiing. The rain held off until 11:30 at the mountain. I got to enjoy a nice 3.5 hours of skiing.

Started at South Peak, as today is the last day of operation for this season. The place was deserted. I found the snow condition had set up overnight. Needed some traffic to break it up some. Since very few other skiers were there to do it I headed over to the West Basin. Came down Speakeasy which was very firm. Then skied Rampasture, Blue Ox, and Picked Rock, they were all good. The gondola was on wind hold, so I went to North Peak next. Upper Flume and Upper Walking Boss were icy and scratchy. Lower Flume and Lower Walking Boss were in good shape. Sunset was firm with many icy spots to avoid. Picked Rock and Flying Fox were in good shape.

Went back to South Peak. The snow had softened up. Twitcher and Jobber were in good condition with just a few icy spots at the headwall. Ripsaw was very firm and icy. Boom Run and Cruiser were in good shape.
