Comments CommentsIt was a cold and windy day, not spring skiing at all. The sun was out for most of the day. The snow surface was mostly frozen snow from the rain and then freeze up. There was a light coating of fresh snow that had fallen overnight at the tail end of the storm. The Bethlehem Express and the Rosebrook Summit Express were the only lifts open, besides the Learning Center. The West Mountain is closed for the season. The groomed trails were about two groomer widths wide, the sides were frozen snow. Many trails were not groomed. It was not the top notch grooming that I expected from Bretton Woods.

From Bethlehem Express the best groomed trails were Big and Bigger Ben, Bretton's Wood, Sawyers Swoop, Perimeter, Water Tank, Cascade, and Fabyan's Express.

From Rosebrook there was High Ridge to Zealand, and Panorama to Two Miles Home. Also from High Ridge over to Range View and Avalon back to the base. The other trails were either closed or solid ungroomed snow.
