Comments CommentsNice spring day with moderate weather conditions. No wind holds on critical chairs, so all open terrain was being served.

Finally got to ski off the top. Extension trails were still roped off at 9:30, but before 10:00 (from the King Pine chair) we could see folks starting to come down. Gondola Ext has filled in quite a bit reducing total steepness but was still a blast, and the remaining trail below Spillway XC was great. Finally got to hit White Nitro true top to bottom which had quickly bumped up on extension and had some ice showing through that could be avoided, and at times edged in to. Quick snow cat pass on that one, but it was still a blast. Later in the day Gondola Ext was still good, lower looked scraped down. Lower portion of Nitro looked rough on extension but better on remainder. Timeberline trail from the top was a fun cruiser and in good shape all day.

Binder partway down was nice, firm in some spots but soft later in the day. Double Bitter was similar in condition but a lot of fun. Spillway by Superquad was a lot of fun, ungroomed and soft in the afternoon. Competition Hill in the morning was great on upper portion, still good on lower but pretty firm and needed care and control in most places. Sluice, and Wedge were good, junction to lower Bubblecuff had some serious shade in the afternoon making it tougher to gauge bumps but was still in great shape.

King Pine side of mountain was good, busy. Springboard was a lot of fun, one of my favorites over there. Haulback was good and getting piled around lunchtime. Flume was a blast, Widowmaker was great and also bumped up some in the afternoon.

Fun fun at the loaf yippee
