Comments CommentsGood pre-storm morning skiing. Peak Triple and Turbulence Triple were open (as well as the novice carpets) with zero lines. All open trails had good base depths.

Two top to bottom runs were open off the Peak Triple. East Wind to Lower Tornado was decent, though I preferred the steepness of Cyclone (to main slope). Breeze to Squall Line or Blast are loaded with snow and should open soon. Noted guns hosed up on lower Hurricane.

Two runs were also open off the Turbulence Triple (Turbulence and Whisper); Turbulence skied better in my opinion. Puff had huge piles on it and looks like it should open soon.

Bluster and Gusty (the latter being the tubing park) were wall to wall...neat to ski the fresh whales on the tubing park. The beginners area slope was also open.

With the incoming storm, they've decided to start 7 day operations immediately, so ski season is here.
