Comments CommentsDec. 21, 2019 - Sat. 47 of 87 trails, 18 of 20 lifts, 5-25F zero wind, machine groomed on hard pack, 7” new in 7 days. Good visibility. Started cold but warmed up by noon. Also went from sunny to high altitude thick haze. Cleared late. they blew snow on 18 trails all day. It wasn’t crowded. If you went single it was a couple minutes. Heavy metal, both North Face and Bear trap were ski on. Still some trails got scraped off in spots. Notably Ridge and Committed. Still it was pretty enjoyable ski day. With all pods now open there’s plenty of terrain even though some of the natural trails are now closed, like Ledge, Hop, Uncle. It could be they were saving some for next week. Lots of whales around ready to be flattened for Christmas.
