Comments | Dec. 30, 2019 - Mon. 50 of 87 trails-yeah right 7 of 20 lifts- but that includes 3 carpets, 32-33F light wind, freezing rain 0.3†ice early plus 1†sleet that turned to more snow like after 1pm to maybe 2†total. Underneath icy hard pack. Poor visibility. Fixed grips lower mountain only. Ego Alley & Heavy Metal queues were full. Lines moved until lifts intermittently shut down. One Ego lift took 27 mins on the lift. We stopped several times, once for 15 mins. Then thunder snow at 3:30 shut the mountain down. I saw 4 lightening bolts but unfortunately didn’t take any video. Luckily for me it I was a few chairs before loading. |
