Comments Comments*Lift times were based on riding the single lines all day. Groups definitely waited longer!

Started at South Peak and the lines were already a surprise at opening. Ripsaw was fantastic, the recent snow helped to keep it packed in. Twitcher/Jobber was nice, super packed powder compared to our last visit Christmas Day. Some inconsistencies in grooming but nothing major.

Heading over to the main mountain I skipped over to North Peak to take advantage of what I could before the crowds really took hold of it. Flume was great, plenty of snow to grab, Upper Walking Boss was still rough in spots, but lower had nice packs of powder to catch. The lift lines down there were never more than 3 or 5 minutes, rising the single line only. Used this lift to hit Can't Dog, Basin Street, Lower Angel Street and some of the upper West Basin trails. Hit most of not all of the crossovers there too, Rolling Bear had its usual ice patches closer to the East Basin Chair.

Only made one gondola ride, the singles line was better than five minutes, with the group line starting outside below the gondola line itself before zig zagging its prey to the pearly gates. Used that ride to hit Angel Street too to bottom and boy did it pay off. Gorgeous conditions, with minimal white ice showing through. Sunset was getting beat up pretty bad, he snow was piling which was okay, but I've was becoming an issue. Otherwise avoided the complexes that led you directly to gondola base.

West Basin complex was decent, but nothing to write home about. The lines there were okay, but confusing. North Peak had the organization that Kanc lacked. At least for the single line, I think that was in part to the RFID register at Kanc. North Peak of course dvoesn't have that. Coolidge Street was closed for race training, and Lower Rumrunner had some icy patches still. Upper Speakeasy was FABULOUS, along with Upper Bearpaw heading into the bypass. Flying Fox was fun top to bottom, as was Upper Picked Rock.

A lot of different conversations on the lifts today! Good, bad, and tuuuubuular.
