Comments | Lots of kids today, not having kids I didn't realize this week was Mass school vacation. Plenty of moving targets, slow parent skiers and a few bad skiers mixed in. Interesting to hear people on the lift say it wasn't crowded at all, I must be spoiled and jaded! Saw a parent take their (2-3yo?) toddler on a leash system THROUGH the curved banks...it is signed at the top. Ended the morning with that. Trails were in great shape! Easy Winder was open, thin cover and natural. I opted to skip it this trip and wait a little longer. Birches was absolutely fantastic, no hard pack hiding anywhere. Crewcut was definitely a mixed bag, hard pack and packed powder - fast. Showboat was good, couple spots here and there of hard pack but nothing major. Cardigan was full of children and lazy skiers - in good shape though. Chutes/Main Street complex was good, again a lot of kiddies. Storm brought plenty of new snow! |
