	Comments	60 of 61 Trails, and 10 of 10 Lifts were open today. The temperature was 15Â° at opening, rose to 45Â° by mid afternoon. Sunny skies all day. No wind. It felt chilly to start out, but with the full sun it warmed up very quickly. Started out with a few runs at South Peak. The snow condition was smoothly groomed packed powder. However the sun was low in the sky and the lighting seemed flat. So we headed over to North Peak to catch the early sun on Walking Boss. North Peak trails were also smoothly groomed packed powder. Everything skied nicely: Walking Boss, Flume, Sunset, Flying Fox, Upper Picked Rock. From there we proceeded down Upper Speakeast, which was in great shape, to the West Basin. Those trails were also in great shape. Rumrunner was closed for race training, but opened up around noon. When it opened word spread quickly and it seemed as though everyone wanted to check it out. Then we made a run down to the Gondola to catch Angel Street. Then back to North Peak. By now the temp felt quite warm out. However due to the cold temp of the snow pack it softened up but did not get slushy at all. Finished out the afternoon on South Peak. By now the trails at South Peak had good sunshine and had softened up nicely. Overall it was a terrific day to ski at Loon. It was not crowded at all, which was surprising for a school vacation week.
