Comments CommentsNice day of spring like skiing. Bluebird sky all day!

Started out chilly and low light due to switchover to daylight saving time, which shifted the ski day one hour away from prime daylight time.

North Peak was windy again today. The mogul field on skiers right of Lower Flume was bulletproof. No warnings were posted which led many skiers to enter from Haulback without realizing what they were getting into. Observed several yard sales. One child fell near the top, and slid all the way down as her Mom watched helplessly. Ski patrol had to bring her down. The groomed sections of the trails skied nicely though.

Took the gondola once to access Angel Street, but found it was closed. In fact Big Dipper and Triple Trouble were closed too. Can’t Dawg was also closed off at Haulback.

On North Peak quad a chair was loaded with the seat in the up position. By the time the lift attendants noticed it was five chairs up. They had to stop the lift and run it backwards. Everyone that loaded after them had to get off. As you can imagine this caused a bit of chaos as it happened at a busy time.

Skied the West Basin trails in early afternoon when the sun reached the area. They all skied very nicely.

All trails still have plenty of snow.

Did not go to South Peak today
