Comments CommentsThe skiing remains good. The mountain got a few inches of snow yesterday, not very much of the other stuff. Up on North Peak the snow seemed more powdery than at lower elevation. It was soft all day. The first hour was mostly ski on to the lifts. But it got busy fast. Lift lines were long until around lunch time. Even at the East Basin Double. After lunch the crowd thinned out nicely and it got back to ski on by 2.

Snow was not made this year on Lower Speakeasy and Upper Northstar, however they are open with natural ungroomed snow.

Weather was pleasant. Temperatures were in the upper 30's to low 40° range. Mostly cloudy with some traces of filtered sun at times.

As the weather gets warm it becomes more unpleasant to have to wear masks. Spring skiing on a warm and sunny day with a mask on, yuk. Well, at least we can still ski.
