Comments CommentsLifts operating today were the Gondola, North Peak, Seven Brothers, the Tote Road, and Lincoln Express at South Peak. The Kanc Quad is being taken down for the new lift. The East Basin lift is also closed for the season. I was told they were having trouble keeping snow on the ramps. Other than at the gondola there were no lift lines today!

The snow conditions started out firm and fast this morning. The open trails were groomed smooth though. Angel Street wass still in good shape. Upper Flume was good also. Lower Flume lost most of the snow on skiers right, and the moguls on skiers left were groomed out. Sunset lost a lot of snow this week on skiers left. Upper Picked Rock, Flying Fox, Crosscut, Bear Claw, and Upper Speakeasy were all still in good shape. Upper Walking Boss lost a lot of snow and got mostly skied off after a couple of hours. Lower Walking Boss held up fairly well. Haulback and Cant Dog are still in decent shape.

Upper Speakeasy was still ok. From there you can still ski down Rampasture and Blue Ox but you must cut over to Picked Rock and go to the Gondola base.

The snow really didn't soften up until after lunch. In the afternoon I went over to South Peak. The snow was much softer over there by then. All the trails were still open. The headwall area of Ripsaw and Twitcher had lost a lot of snow and had bare spots, but the rest of these trails were still in good shape.

Weather: The temp started out at 18° and rose into the mid 40's. Full sunshine all day. Some wind out of the Northwest in the morning kept the temp low. It warmed up quickly once the wind died down.
