Comments CommentsSnow report called for 18 groomers open, with patrol dropping ropes through the day. Flyer and Jet were on windhold when we arrived, the tram wasn’t planned to run at all. We spent the first part of the morning exploring what was open. Natural snow was definitely crispy, and some groomers were firm. Finally the Flyer was opened up, and we were able ski from higher angles. After encountering a bottleneck situation on Goat Run numerous time, we started using Alligator Alley under the lift line when the rope was dropped. Finally before lunch, patrol dropped the ropes on Ullr’s Dream, our first run came just in time because the bottom run out was getting sticky.

With the ropes dropping like flies, we headed into a few glades, and bumps. JFK was a bumpy ride all the way down, testing me and a few other folks barreling down it. Kokomo was super fun, and also getting sticky (surprise surprise). Bushwhacker was a good cruiser offering lot of fun, and the Expo glades were cool too.

Jet chairlift never opened all day, bummer.
