Comments CommentsHooray for real snow!! The conditions all over were great, anything open was worth a run. I managed to sneak in a couple of hours thank god. No specific Run of the Day because they were all truly equal, even if the glade was extra fun!

The entire groomed Spear Peak complex is open now, looks like the woods are filling in nicely too. The main peak was seeing snowmaking on Lower Ridge, and recent snowmaking on Wild Side to create the terrain park. Ragged Glades were a nice change of pace, the snow was fantastic. They were running the water lines across the very top of the trail for Ridge, so they entry is just a little lower. There is also an exit back onto Wild Side about halfway down. There was some ski patrol activity on Exhibition: pads being put up around the tower footings, ropes being pulled across Birches to deter bold skiers - as if the giant water main hanging out above the snow wasn't an obvious barrier haha. I'm told the rope was dropped on an ungroomed, natural snowed Upper Exhibition shortly before lunchtime (right after I left!), leading out to the intersection with Newfound Ridge.

Can't wait for more snow!!!
