Comments CommentsWhat a day to play around, we got there for opening and hit Green Peak first. Clean Shaven was the first run and boy was it sweet! The snow stayed cold enough up here, and just about every trail had some form of hero snow. The fog made it challenging at the summits, but somewhere around 3200’ it petered out and visibility was good again. We got hungry and decided to stop for lunch around 11:30. No Grit which is one of my favorite cruisers did not disappoint. Stillness was also a fun run to cruise on. Gema and Ciao had the best snow of that complex. Rode the T-bar for a few runs, snow up top was awesome, fog was thick. Periphery had fun soft bumps, but the dump out through to the Tippe junction was all frozen golf balls eek. The forecasted “precip” was all snow from about 1:30 through closing, and localized in the valley! Sunshine in Campton. Dropped about 1” while we were skiing.
