Comments CommentsButter and mashed potatoes. Name of the game was Get the runs in before the rain comes. Grooming got a late start, six pack didn’t load until 9:15-9:20. Skiing over fresh grooms equals carving fun. Couple patches of ice here and there that softened up quickly, and was at least edgeable. Upper Crewcut, and Birches were competing for first place. Took three runs on each to settle the debate. Wild Side, Lower Chute, and Village Green with the park features were closed - assuming because it can’t be groomed with such warm temps.

Spear Peak opened just after 11:00. Showboat remained closed, a ski patroller said that no one felt it was worth it for the amount of ice that it had. Either way, it was still worth the wait for the cats to get off the slopes. Nabbed the second chair up, first chair had to stop for adjustments prior to riding so I felt lucky to have first tracks on Flying Yankee. Cardigan was a fun cruise too!
