Comments CommentsMonday fun day! Last weekday operations, next weekend is set for closing (free tickets on Sunday). Slightly firm to start since temps dropped below freezing Sunday night. Softened up so fast, fun turns on the groomers! White Heat had grooming down the center, leaving the bumps on either side. Most bumps were well softened up by lunchtime. Locke triple only had Risky Business and American Express, with Lazy River being the access to the complex. Sirius was closed, but we snuck under the rope to watch the helicopter hauling out the old Jordan quad towers (preparations for the new 8 pack that’s expected for the 22-23 season). Two runs on White Heat were as good as always! Obsession was closed, but Salvation was open. Bim’s Whim was open with very thin cover, and as we looked up it wondering if it was worth it a tele skier came down! We followed him to the T-Bar line and jumped the rope for buttery turns. Twice. After lunch time we took the Barker chair up and hiked up Goat Path to the summit of Locke. The summit chair looked ready to roll with pressed out snow heading down Sunday Punch, and T2. We opted for Sunday Punch.

Beautiful day, bluebird sky and plenty of things to keep us interested! Hung it up at 3:30!
