Comments | For the second year in a row, I ended up at McIntyre for some Christmas Eve skiing. They released a new trail map this year (https://www.mcintyreskiarea.com/trail-map/), and all of the trails and lifts have new names. The Queen's Trail was open from the top, and had good full width coverage. The Ledge/Quarry also had enough snow, but it looked like they were reworking the park which was set up on it, so it wasn't open. For lifts the Apollo 14 Chair & Moonwalk Carpet were open. They did a good job grooming, and conditions were quite good, with a frozen granular surface. Snowmaking was running all day, so there were multiple areas with some fresh powdery snow. While it wasn't quite enough terrain for a full day of skiing, it was perfect for a morning of skiing. |
